Eclipse Solar Car Departure to Australia

This past week was spent doing last minute adjustments on the car before shipment. The loading of the crate which will transport the Eclipse car towards Australia was done during the night of August 13th and 14th, after the car’s inauguration. After a complete working night, we watched as the truck pulled away with our project vehicle, bound for Australia, after four hard years of work. Mixed emotions were felt by all as Eclipse VI, tucked away in its crate, rolled off the ETS property.

From now until we leave for Australia, on October 10th 2009, we have to work hard once more to raise the necessary money required for the upcoming competition, organize the team for the competition and build the spare parts for the car.
