Road test at PMG Technologies

Several road tests were done in the ETS underground parking lot. At these moments, several electric problems were found, and were swiftly repaired.

On Sunday, August 9th 2009, PMG Technologies allowed us to test for the first time our vehicle at high speed. On a 6 km oval track, The Eclipse car was able to reach a top speed of 85 km/h with partially charged batteries. We are confident that it can reach higher speeds when batteries are completely charged. During the several laps, no defects were discovered! Some adjustments to reduce vehicle vibration are to be made.

This road test is a big milestone. We can expect that the car will be performing in top shape at the competition which is only two months away!
