Conference on the Eclipse solar car at Inno 09
The Eclipse solar car team was at the Inno 09 event: a showcase of innovation, on April 23rd and 24th. This event had Quebec’s top leaders in technology and innovation. The Inno 09 theme was of sustainable development and was divided into 4 categories:
The Eclipse captain, Frédérick Ammann, presented how the solar car's main components worked during a conference in the section: Materials and Sustainable Development.
Quebec needs to improve it’s innovation in the field of electrical vehicles. Eclipse team members have a large advantage over other engineering students because of what they have learnt and what they have done to design and build the vehicle. We are training them to be quality engineers!
